Dr Matthew Foo

Dr Matthew Foo started his career as a dentist in 1992, after completing the Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide. He has worked as a dentist at various locations around Australia from Woolgoolga, Nambucca Heads, Alice Springs to Hobart, gaining experience in all aspects of family and cosmetic dentistry.

After 10 years as a dentist, Dr Foo embarked on further training as a specialist in the field of Orthodontics. He was offered a position at the University of Sydney, and spent another 3 years of full time training and studies in orthodontics. His training has enabled him to treat patients of all ages, from interceptive early treatment to comprehensive orthodontic treatment for teenagers and adults. All aspects of orthodontic treatment are available, including conventional braces, Invisalign clear aligners and lingual braces.

Dr Foo is dedicated to his continuing education to provide the best orthodontic care for his patients. He regularly attends courses, meetings and conferences every year to keep up to date on the latest innovations in orthodontics. Additionally, Dr Matthew Foo and Family has initiated a local dental study group that is available to all of his referring dentists on the North Shore. At these meetings, prominent lecturers in their field of dentistry are invited to present on the latest updates on various aspects of dentistry. These meetings also allow for better interaction and communication between Dr Foo and your dentists.

Outside of work hours, Dr Foo spends his spare moments with his wife, Samantha and their children, Adam and Sarah.
