Dr David Bachmayer
Dr Bachmayer graduated as a dentist from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 1979 (cum laude). He practiced General Dentistry for 3 years prior to accepting an offer to study Orthodontics. In 1985, he graduated as an Orthodontist from the University of Toronto, Canada, where he received a Diploma in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree. He conducted research on children born with Cleft Lip and Palate at the Hospital for Sick Children and was given a special award of Merit for this research by the American Association Of Orthodontists.
Since arriving in Australia in 1986, David has maintained a private practice in Orthodontics in Norwest, Baulkham Hills. He has been a tutor in Orthodontics at the University of Sydney and has also been a visiting Dental Officer at the Childrens Hospital at Westmead.
He has a special interest in clear aligner orthodontics and when not straightening teeth, he may be found paddling his surfski on Sydney Harbour!

Dr Helen Moon
Dr. Moon graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) and practiced general dentistry for 2 years. She later decided to move halfway across the world to Winnipeg, Canada to pursue her lifelong dream of specialising in Orthodontics at the University of Manitoba. Her time in Canada was replete with knee-deep snow, squirrels, the northern lights and as an avid traveller she visited most Canadian provinces, as well as various cities in the United States and Europe.
During her orthodontic residency, Dr Moon presented her research at various international orthodontic conferences. She is committed to providing evidence-based patient care and continues to educate herself with contemporary orthodontic techniques. She has a sharp eye for detail and will listen to your needs to help you achieve a beautiful, bright smile.
In her spare time, Dr. Moon enjoys skiing, cooking Korean food and learning different languages. She is fluent in Korean and can also speak un petit peu French.
