Profile Orthodontics

THE ORTHODONTIST
Dr Chris Wholley
After graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia, Dr Wholley worked as a general dentist in the southwest for 8 years, including 4 years in his own practice. This background proves useful when orthodontic treatment needs to be coordinated with treatment by dentists and other specialists.
Dr Wholley qualified as an Orthodontist in 2001, after completing the 3 year specialist orthodontic program at the University of Melbourne. Having obtained a Masters in Dental Science (Orthodontics) and a Graduate Diploma in Dentofacial Orthopaedics, he commenced his specialist practice at Profile Orthodontics.
Since 2007, Dr Wholley has also been a Consultant at the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, working in the Cleft Lip Palate Unit and the Craniofacial Unit.
Dr Wholley is interested in using 3D technologies for facial mapping. He has lectured at state, national and international level, and has published research articles in Australian and international journals.
